NEET UG Answer Key to be released today: How to download, raise objections; important details here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) today, August 30. An official notification has been issued by NTA, regarding the same. Candidates can easily download the NEET UG 2022 answer key on NEET's official website - neet.nta.nic.in. They just need to use their application number and password to get it.

After keying the credentials, candidates will get a PDF file of NEET answer key 2022, which can be downloaded. Students are advised to take a printout of the same for future reference.

How to raise objections in NEET UG Answer Key
Candidates will also get the opportunity to raise objections on the basis of the answer key. They can easily do it by paying an amount of Rs 200 per question. As per NTA marking scheme, students will get 4 marks for a correct answer and -1 or one negative mark for a wrong answer.


"To facilitate the candidates, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet will also be sent on the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2022. Candidates will be given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200/- per answer challenged, within a specified period," NTA notification said.

• Go to the official website- neet.nta.nic.in
• Look for 'View NEET UG 2022 answer key' link on the homepage
• Click on the link and a new page will open
• Enter your login credentials in the new page
• Once done with that, you would be able to see NEET answer key 2022 on your screen
• Download the answer key, and take a print out for future reference

Students must remember that NEET UG 2022 result will be declared on September 7 and the final answer key will also be released on the same day. Besides results, NTA will also issue the NEET merit list. More than 18 lakh candidates took the NEET UG 2022 exam, which was conducted on July 17. The exam was held in 497 cities across India and also conducted abroad in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Dubai and Kuwait City.
