During this period, candidates who have already submitted their forms can log in to the NEET portal and make permitted changes to their application details.
Typically, students can edit the following fields:
- Exam city preference
- Category or sub-category
- Medium of the question paper
- Uploaded photographs, signatures, or other documents (if required)
However, key personal details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, email ID, and registered mobile number cannot be changed once the form has been submitted.
What happens after the correction window
Once the correction facility closes, the next important update for candidates will be the exam city intimation slip. This slip provides information about the city where the examination centre will be located, allowing candidates to plan their travel in advance.
The NEET UG 2026 admit card is expected to be released in the last week of April on the official NTA website. Candidates must download the admit card and carry it along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre.
