NEET UG 2026 registration deadline extended: Check last date, steps to apply, fees and exam date at neet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency has extended the registration deadline for NEET UG 2026. Candidates now have until March 11, 2026 to complete their applications for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Those who have not yet applied can submit their forms through the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

How to Apply for NEET UG 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete their application:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the "NEET UG 2026 registration link" available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will open where candidates must enter their registration details.
Step 4: After completing registration, log in to the account.
Step 5: Fill in the application form and pay the required application fee.
Step 6: Click on submit to complete the application process.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.

NEET UG 2026 Application Fee

The application fee varies according to the candidate’s category:

• ₹1700/- for General category
• ₹1600/- for General-EWS/OBC-NCL category
• ₹1000/- for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender category

The payment must be completed through online mode.

NEET UG 2026 Exam Date and Duration

The NEET UG 2026 examination will be conducted on May 3, 2026. The test will have a duration of 180 minutes, beginning at 2 pm and concluding at 5 pm.

Languages Available for the Exam

The exam will be held in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
