The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the exam city intimation slip for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates can now check the city allotted for their exam center by visiting the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET re-Examination Scheduled After Cancellation

The NEET UG 2026 re-test is set to take place on June 21. The decision follows the cancellation of the earlier exam conducted on May 3 due to allegations of a paper leak.

NEET Exam Timing and Centers

As per official details, the re-examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The test will be held across 551 cities in India and 14 international locations.

Official Announcement

In a notice shared on social media, the NTA stated: "NEET-UG 2026 City Intimation Slip is now LIVE. Candidates can now check their allotted examination city for NEET-UG 2026. Log in with your Application Number and password to view and download your slip."

Steps to Download NEET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip

Step 1: Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link titled “NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination City Intimation Slip” on the homepage
Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin
Step 4: Submit the details to access the candidate portal
Step 5: View the city intimation slip displayed on the screen
Step 6: Download and save it for future reference

Purpose of the City Intimation Slip

The city intimation slip helps candidates identify the city where their exam center will be located. It is released in advance to allow students to plan their travel and accommodation, especially if the center is in a different city. Candidates must remember that this document is not the admit card. The NTA has clearly stated that it "is the City Intimation Slip - NOT the Admit Card."
