For those who either missed securing a seat in Round 1 or wish to upgrade, Round 2 will soon offer another opportunity. MCC will announce the registration and choice-filling dates for Round 2 shortly.

Didn’t get a seat in Round 1?

If your name is not on the Round 1 allotment list, you can still participate in Round 2, Round 3, and the stray vacancy round.

Who can apply for Round 2?

You are eligible if you:
  • Registered in Round 1 but weren’t allotted a seat.
  • Had your Round 1 seat cancelled during document verification.
  • Joined your Round 1 seat but opted for an upgrade.
  • Were allotted a seat but didn’t join.
  • Resigned from your Round 1 seat within the permitted time frame.

Do you need to register again?

If you already registered in Round 1 and meet the eligibility criteria above, you do not need to register again. Fresh registration is only required for candidates who did not apply in Round 1.

  • Choice Filling & Locking – Select and arrange your preferred colleges and courses.
  • Seat Allotment – MCC will assign seats based on NEET rank, preferences, and reservation policies.
  • Result Declaration – The list will be published on the MCC website.
  • Physical Reporting – Report to the allotted college with original documents and fees.
  • Upgrade Option – After joining Round 2, candidates may choose to upgrade in Round 3.

Key rules to remember

  • If you fail to report after Round 2 allotment, you will lose your security deposit.
  • Once upgraded, you cannot claim your previous seat.
  • Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 2 can proceed directly to Round 3 without re-registering.
