NEET PG Counselling 2022 to begin from Sept 1 after SC refuses to stall

The NEET PG Counselling 2022 is all set to begin on 1st September according to the official schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC. The Supreme Court in a hearing today said that it would not stall the NEET PG Counselling process.

According to reports, a bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and Hima Kohli mentioned that the Apex Court would not interfere with the NEET PG Counselling. The point came up when a counsel mentioned a matter related to NEET PG in the hope of some clarification.

The matter was mentioned in front of the bench following a writ petition challenging the National Board of Examination's decision to not release the NEET PG answer key and question paper. The petition was filed alleging discrepancies in scores and demanding a relief in the same, especially in the form of a re-evaluation.


Following the Apex Court's statement, the NEET PG Counselling 2022 will begin on time. It will be conducted by the MCC and the schedule for the same has been released online for everyone.

Some other matters related to the EWS quota have also been pending, but there are no new updates on it.
