NEET PG Counselling 2022: Round 1 final allotment result today

Medical Counselling Committee, MCC, is set to announce the seat allotment result for Round 1 of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate or NEET PG 2022 counselling today, September 28.

Once released, candidates can check the final seat allotment result on the official website: mcc.nic.in.

The provisional list was released yesterday. The time to point out discrepancies, if any, was till 11 am today.

NEET PG Counselling 2022: How to check Round 1 allotment

• Visit official website : mcc.nic.in
• On homepage, click on link for “PG Medical Counselling”
• Under the Current Events section, find the link to check seat allotment result
• Click on link and check NEET PG seat allotment result.
• Download and save the PDF for future references.

Candidates would be able to download their allotment letter from the official MCC website. Reporting and joining for candidates at their respective institutions will begin from September 29.

Candidates get a total of 6 days to complete their process of reporting, joining and document verification at their respective colleges. Last date for reporting is October 4.

NEET-PG : How it is this year

Usually, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate), NEET-PG, is held in January and the counselling starts in March. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the delay in last year's admission process, this year's exam was held on May 21 and results were declared on June 1.

This year's PG counselling is likely to be held for around 52,000 seats. Students who have qualified in the exam will be able to fill their choices with respect to courses and colleges during the counselling process for admission to the all India quota seats, state medical and dental colleges, central and deemed universities.

PG counselling commenced for all central universities, deemed universities and 50 per cent of the all India quota and 50 per cent of the state quota of both medical as well as dental colleges simultaneously.
