The exam consisted of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each offering four options, with candidates required to select the most suitable answer. A negative marking system was in place, deducting 25% of the marks for each incorrect response, while unanswered questions carried no penalty. Conducted exclusively in English, the test had a duration of three hours and 30 minutes.
Although results have been announced, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has stated that individual scorecards will only be available for download from August 29, 2025. Candidates will have to log in with their registered credentials to access their scorecards.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to download the NEET PG result 2025:
- Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘NEET PG Result 2025’ link.
- Enter login credentials and submit.
- View and download the result displayed on the screen
- Take a printout for future reference.
NEET PG result 2025: Category-wise cut-offs released
In line with the minimum qualifying and eligibility criteria for admissions to MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 Years Courses)/PG Medical Diploma programmes, NBEMS has released the cut-off scores:
- General/EWS: 50th percentile – 276 marks (out of 800)
- General PwBD: 45th percentile – 255 marks (out of 800)
- SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC): 40th percentile – 235 marks (out of 800)
