NCET 2026 application correction window
The National Testing Agency has opened the application correction window for the National Common Entrance Test 2026. Candidates who have already submitted their forms can now modify certain details by visiting the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NCET.

The correction window began on March 12 and will remain open until March 14, 2026 (11:50 pm). Students are advised to carefully review their application forms and make the necessary corrections within this period, as no further opportunity to edit the form will be provided after the deadline.

How to edit the NCET 2026 application form

Candidates can update their application by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official NCET website.
Step 2: Log in using your application number and password.
Step 3: Open the application form.
Step 4: Edit the permitted details.
Step 5: Review all information carefully and submit the updated form.

Details that can be changed

Applicants are permitted to modify only one of the following details:
  • Candidate’s name
  • Father’s name
  • Mother’s name
Candidates can also update the following information in their forms:
  • Class 10 exam details
  • Class 12 exam details
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Sub-category / PwD or PwBD status
  • Signature
  • Subjects and course preferences
Applicants may also add or modify the following:
  • Subject or test paper
  • Preferred university, programme, or course
  • NCET 2026 exam details
The National Common Entrance Test 2026 is scheduled to be held on April 17 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The examination will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Urdu.
