Nawazuddin Siddiqui's mother files a police report against his wife Aaliya. Here's why

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother has filed an FIR against the actor's wife Aaliya.

According to reports, Versova police have summoned Aaliya for questioning after a complaint from Mehrunisa Siddiqui. The police claim that Nawazuddin, his mother, and Aaliya alias Zainab are embroiled in a property dispute. A complaint has been filed under Indian Penal Code sections 452, 323, 504, and 506.

Zainab is Nawazuddin's second wife. Over a decade ago, Nawazuddin married Aaliya alias Anjana Kishor Pandey aka Zainab. They have a son, Yaani Siddiqui, and a daughter, Shora Siddiqui.


In the year 2020, Aaliya served Nawazuddin with a divorce petition. She had also explained why she had decided to split ways. Aaliya said she had been a victim of domestic abuse. She said that Nawazuddin never raised his hand at her; however, his brother Shamas Siddiqui struck her.

However, in 2021, Aaliya reconsidered her intention to divorce Nawazuddin. Nawazuddin has refused to talk about his personal matters in the public domain.

Nawazuddin was most recently featured as the antagonist in the Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria film 'Heropanti 2'. He has numerous films in the works that will be released shortly.

In 'Haddi', he will play the role of a transwoman. Akshat Ajay Sharma directed it and co-wrote it with Adamya Bhalla. Tiku Weds Sheru, a Kangana Ranaut production, is also in the works for Nawazuddin. He will also appear in the films Bole Chudiyan, Jogira Sa Ra Ra Ra, and Afwah.
