Nana Patekar to lead in Vivek Agnihotri’s 'The Vaccine War'

As the shoot for Vivek Agnihotri's much-anticipated film 'The Vaccine War' has finally concluded, the filmmaker has revealed that Nana Patekar will now play the lead role in the movie. Sapthami Gowda, who played a key role in Kantara, has been cast in 'The Vaccine War,' according to Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri said that they are dedicated to working with the best talent in Indian cinema. He said that the protagonist for The Vaccine War needed to be strong, believable and understated. He added Nana Patekar was the only name that came to mind when they were trying to cast someone whose performance could not be questioned. In Nana's praise, Agnihotri said that the former belongs to a select group of actors, who excel in every role and never compromise on either their craft or their performances.




He continued that he is very happy that Pallavi and he chose Nana Patekar to star in the film, which would be his most impressive, convincing and powerful performance to date. Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files is one of the most divisive and well-liked Hindi movies ever made, grossing about Rs 300 crore. Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar all starred in the movie based on the gruesome exodus of Hindus from Kashmir in the 1990s.

The Vaccine War will be produced by Pallavi Joshi and will have an 11-language theatrical release on August 15, 2023. Anupam Kher and Nana Patekar play the lead characters in the movie.
