Naane Varuvean OTT release: All you need to know about Dhanush starrer thriller; where to watch

Naane Varuvean – the horror thriller was released worldwide on September 29. Starring Dhanush in a double role and directed by his elder brother Selvaraghavan, the movie was a blockbuster. It has received praise from movie fanatics because of the lead actor’s splendid performance and brilliant direction.

Now, the Tamil movie is all set to premiere on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video India. The platform recently announced on its social media channels that Naane Varuvean will be streaming on the same. The movie will be streaming from October 27 onwards and anyone with a Prime membership can watch it.

The movie stars Dhanush playing the roles of two twin brothers, Prabhu and Kathir. Apart from that, the movie also stars Indhuja Ravichandran, Elli AvrRam, Yogi Babu, Saravana Subbiah, Hiya Davey, Aajeedh Khalique, Shelly Kishore, and Prabhu Ganeshan in the leading roles. The director Selvaraghavan also appears in a cameo appearance.


Dhanush has been on a roll this year. Naane Varuvean is his fourth release in 2022. He was first seen in the action thriller Maaran, which was released on Disney+Hotstar in March. He also made his Hollywood debut with Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man. It was an action-thriller and he co-starred with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in July.

Dhanush also starred in the Family-comedy film Thiruchitrambalam in August. He co-starred with Nithya Menon and Prakash Raj. It ended up being a blockbuster, earning more than Rs 100 crore worldwide. He will also be seen in his next project, Vaathi which will be released on December 2.
