N Jagadeesan breaks Virat Kohli's record with fifth straight Vijay Hazare Trophy century
Tamil Nadu player Narayan Jagadeesan sets a new record in List A by making his fifth consecutive century in the current Vijay Hazare Trophy event. On Monday in Bengaluru, the former CSK batter quickly passed 175 against Arunachal Pradesh.

Jagadeesan has also broken records of ace cricketers for the most hundreds in a single edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy including that of Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Prithvi Shaw, and Ruturaj Gaikwad. In his sixth encounter, Jagadeesan has already surpassed the 600-run milestone. On November 23, Tamil Nadu will play Kerala in their last group-stage encounter, allowing Jagadeesan to extend his record-breaking accomplishment.
