Ram Mandir inauguration
On Monday, PM Modi completed the Pran Pratistha (consecration) ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. The Ram Mandir inauguration event also witnessed the presence of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat inside the sanctum during the ceremonies.

The 'Pran Pratishtha' of the new 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla involved the participation of 14 couples from different parts of India, acting as 'yajmaans' (hosts). The consecration ceremony included the showering of flower petals on the temple premises by army helicopters. The idol, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj of Mysuru, was placed in the temple's sanctum sanctorum on Thursday.

Nearly 7,000 special invitees attended the Pran Pratishtha ceremony outside the sanctum, including prominent personalities from various fields. The list comprised 506 A-listers such as Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and Sachin Tendulkar, along with individuals associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. However, opposition leaders declined to participate, with the Congress categorising it as a "BJP-RSS event."
