Mumbai Police bans firecrackers from May 11 to June 9

Mumbai Police has issued an order prohibiting the use of firecrackers, fireworks, and rockets within the limits of Brihanmumbai from May 11 to June 9, 2025, both days inclusive.

According to the directive, “No persons shall let off or throw any fire crackers/firework or send up any rocket including a chidi in or upon any place in the limits of Brihan Mumbai for the period from 11th May, 2025 to 9th June, 2025 (both days inclusive).”
