MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh have awkward meeting, fans compare them with Ashneer Grover, Salman Khan; Watch viral video

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni met with spin bowling legend Harbhajan Singh at a function. However, their meeting was awkward and has gone viral on social media.

Dhoni and Singh were long-time teammates, who played for India and later for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. They were together in several World Cup campaigns, two of which resulted in triumphs in 2007 and 2011. While Dhoni still plays for CSK, Singh has proceeded to become an expert commentator.

Though visibly awkward, both Dhoni and Singh were courteous towards each other.


A social media user called Dhoni as Salman Khan and Harbhajan Singh as Ashneer Grover, referring to the time when the startup founder and former Shark Tank India judge had an awkward meeting with the actor a few months ago.

This came when Grover had said few things which apparently did not go down well the Bollywood star. Another social media user reminded Dhoni of the comments Singh had made regarding their relationship.

"No, I don't speak to Dhoni. When I was playing at CSK, that's when we spoke, but otherwise, we haven't spoken. It's been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does. I don't know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that's when we used to talk, and that, too, was restricted to the ground. After that, he did not come to my room, nor did I go to his," Harbhajan had said in a conversation with CricketNext.
