Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has extended deadline for the filling of online application forms for the recruitment to the post of Karyapalik (Excise Constable).

The online application deadline has been deferred both for the direct and backlog post for the Excise Department. The candidates who are eligible and interested in filling the online application can do so on the official website peb.mp.gov.in till December 29, 2022. The applicants will also be allowed to make changes to their application forms until December 31, 2022.

The earlier deadline for the online application was December 24, 2022. The commission has also provided age relaxation of 3 years.


The exam will be conducted on February 20, 2023 in two shifts and the timings for the same will be 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM and 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM, an official notification from MPPEB said. This exam will fill a total of 200 vaccines for the post of ‘Excise Constable.’

While, the applicants from the reserved category are required to pay a fee of Rs 250 for the application, the applicants from the unreserved category need to pay Rs 500 for the same.

To be eligible to apply for the examinations, the applicants are required to pass a 10+2 examination from a recognised board.

The total number of vacancies unreserved for candidates from other states is limited to 8, while for the other remaining seats the candidate needs to be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh to be eligible for the post. The online application form has been open for the eligible candidates since December 10, 2022 and was supposed to close by December 24, 2022, before MPPEB announced the deferment.
