Motorola has introduced an upgraded version of the Moto G100 in China, featuring a huge 7,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. Launched on October 14, 2025, the new model brings major hardware upgrades over the 2021 version, including a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage.

The device sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and vibrant colors. For photography, it features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Running on Android 15, the smartphone also offers an IP64 rating, providing resistance to dust and splashes.

Priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately $196) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the new Moto G100 is now available for pre-order in China, with shipments scheduled to begin on October 23.

Despite using a two-year-old chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 still delivers reliable mid-range performance, complemented by the larger battery that marks the most significant upgrade from its predecessor.

Interestingly, the new Moto G100 shares several similarities with the recently leaked Moto G36, hinting that it could be rebranded for international markets.
