Motivational speaker Vivek Bindra booked for alleged domestic violence

Motivational speaker, Vivek Bindra, has been booked for allegedly assaulting his wife a day after their wedding earlier this month, ToI reported quoting police officials.

A case was filed against Vivek Bindra, a famous self-proclaimed international motivational speaker and the CEO and founder of Bada Business Pvt Ltd, on December 14 by the victim's brother at Noida Sector 126 police station.

The incident happened on December 7, the day after their wedding, when Bindra had gotten into an argument with his mother and Kwatra’s sister Yanika decided to intervene, reported ToI quoting the victim's brother.


“Vivek took my sister inside their room, locked it and thrashed her. He even abused her. My sister has got injury marks on her body, she is having hearing issues as well,” Kwatra said. It has been reported that Bindra also damaged the victim's phone. Owing to the seriousness of the injuries, she was brought to Kailash Deepak hospital in Karkardooma, Delhi for treatment.

A case was registered against Bindra on 14 December under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC at the Sector 126 police station.

“We have several videos and records as well where he can be seen misbehaving with my sister and have submitted those to the police,” Kwatra said.

A senior police officer said that further investigation into the matter is underway.
