A Delhi-based entrepreneur has introduced a heartfelt initiative ahead of Mother’s Day, winning praise online for encouraging employees to spend quality time with their parents. CEO Rajat Grover announced a special “parental perk” under which employees will receive a reimbursement of Rs 10,000 to take their parents on a three-day vacation.

Extra Paid Leave for Family Time

To make the experience more meaningful, the company is also offering additional paid leave specifically for the trip. Employees will not have to use their regular leave balance for the vacation.

“We keep saying ‘one day’ to the people who spent their whole lives saying ‘yes’ to us,” entrepreneur Rajat Grover wrote on Instagram.

Explaining the reason behind the initiative, he added: “Our parents gave us their time, dreams, energy, and years… without ever asking for anything back.”

In a video message shared online, Grover urged employees not to postpone spending valuable time with their parents.

“We don’t know how much time we have with them. Tomorrow is not promised,” he said.

“So if there is a place they always wanted to go, a moment they always wanted to have, this is the time. Take them. Go now. Don’t wait.”

Social Media Reacts

The initiative received widespread appreciation on social media, with many users praising the emotional and thoughtful gesture.
