To drive home the message, the UP Police edited a scene from the film where the lead pair is seen sporting helmets while walking on a street. The caption, filled with wit and a romantic warning, read: "Helmet peheniye, Saiyaara ko bhi pehnaiye, varna romance se pehele hi roadmap badal sakta hai. Mohabbat mein safety zaroori hai" (Translation: "Wear a helmet, make Saiyaara wear one too, otherwise, the roadmap might change before the romance begins. Safety is essential in love.")
The creative public safety message was met with appreciation across social media platforms. One user wrote, "We should appreciate UP Police’s creativity," while another commented, "What creativity." A third added, "Got to give credit to UP Police. They dug up something from nowhere."
