What started as a Steve Carell-led venture - Despicable Me - has turned into a cash grab for Universal Pictures, with the Minions in action again.

Kids are bound to watch the Minions on screen again as critical acclaim doesn't really figure into releases. The money matters more than the entertainment it would seem, creating another sequel for parents to sit through with thier besotted children.

The Minions have already featured in twenty different bottles with the same wine.

With each rendition, only the mission varies slightly. There have been prequels, sequels, shorts, TV series, video games and possibly a theme park in the future.

Critics have not spoken too highly of the latest installment, despite humour spread out through the film to amuse both adults and children.

The movie focuses on the fall of one of the Vicious Six - a spot that Gru is trying to fill. With Gru not getting the break he desires, he makes off with the Zodiac, becoming a target for the Six.

Stars in the film include Taraji Hensen, Jean Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Lucy Lawless and Danny Trejo.
