Microsoft unveils upgraded Bing search engine powered by OpenAI; CEO Satya Nadella challenges Google

Microsoft has announced an upgraded version of Bing search engine and Edge browser with OpenAI. Satya Nadella talked about the new features during an interview. The chief is confident to leave behind Google in the search-engine market.

Microsoft has launched a new version of Bing search engine and Edge web browser integrated with the next-gen OpenAI solution.

Satya Nadella, the CEO of the tech giant, recently revealed about the firm’s plan to give a stiff competition to Google which currently leads the search engine industry.

Reportedly, Microsoft’s Bing will now operate on a new OpenAI large language structure that is better than the latest AI chatbot ‘ChatGPT.’ The news comes a day after Google announced the launch of its OpenAI’s language model ‘Bard.’ Google has entered the market with its experimental conversational AI solution to compete with ChatGPT. The Google service is leveraged by Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA). Microsoft has also announced upgraded features for its browser ‘Edge.’


Satya Nadella shared some interesting prospects related to Microsoft’s future plans surrounding Aritificial Intelligence during a recent interview. The CEO said that currently Google domaintes the search engine market but a healthy competition from other companies will push the industry. He elaborated saying that competition will fetch more money for the involved firms, publishers, and advertisers too. Satya addressed Google as the ‘800 pound gorilla’ of the search engine industry. The Microsoft chief confidently claimed that with OpenAI support, Microsoft will give a stiff competition to Google and compel them to ‘dance.’


The spearhead applauded Google CEO Sundar Pichai and his team by saying that he has a great respect for their talent. He revealed that he has been working for the past twenty years to come up with a innovation in the search engine field.
