Xiaomi Mi Band 8 was launched on Tuesday. This came even as the company has unveiled a number of devices which also include Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone. Xiaomi Mi Band 8 has been launched in two variants - NFC and a cheaper version.

There has been an upgradation and a change of design in the Xiaomi Mi Band 8 from the previous smart bands. Xiaomi Mi Band 8 has been launched in two colour options - one is Light Gold, and other is Bright Black. Xiaomi Mi Band cheaper version would cost around Rs 2,800 and the NFC version is Rs 3,600, according to reports.

Xiaomi Mi Band 8 has 1.62-inch AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels. It has pixel density of 326 ppi and a maximum brightness of 600nits. Xiaomi Mi Band 8 supports Android 6.0 or iOS 12.0.


Xiaomi Mi Band 8 has over 150 training modes and SpO2 health assistant feature. It also can monitor heart rate, track sleep and menstrual cycle. Xiaomi Mi Band 8 also can track stride length, stride frequency.

Xiaomi Mi Band 8 comes with 190mAh battery unit and offers 16 days of battery life. However, if users keep Always-on-Display mode on, then battery will last for 5 days.
