Mercedes is launching its hybrid AMG model in India on April 11. Details inside
The German car manufacturer will launch the AMG model next month which boasts a combined gasoline engine with an electric motor.

Under the hood, the AMG GT 63 S E Performance, has a 204 horsepower electric motor and a 639 horsepower, 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that works together to generate 843 horsepower and more than 1,400 Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The hybrid system in the AMG GT 63 S E provides an electric-only range of up to 7.5 miles.
Two 12.4-inch screens that serve as an entertainment system and digital instrument console are included inside the AMG GT 63 S E Performance, along with other interior features that are exclusive to the brand, including sports seats and more. There are several driving settings: Race, Electric, Slippery, and Comfort. Additionally, the Drive Dynamic controller supports an Individual option that lets you customize a number of elements of the vehicle.
Mercedes is bringing the model through the Completely Built-up Units (CBU) route in India. The price of this model is yet to be unveiled.
