Sakshi Jha during the India's Got Latent show
A teacher and content creator from Bihar, Sakshi Jha, has become a focal point of discussion on India's Got Latent Season 2 after her stand-up comedy performance resulted in zero points from every judge. Her act, which featured jokes targeting men and a self-proclaimed "man-hater" persona, drew criticism from judges and viewers alike on social media.

The latest episode, released on Friday, showcased Sakshi Jha's audition. She introduced herself as a "man-hater" who enjoyed "bruising men's egos." Her jokes centered on her dislike for men, including remarks about her own family members. A particularly controversial moment involved a joke about her life goal being to "beat her husband after drinking." Her routine also included jokes about people from Bihar.

Following her performance, host Samay Raina questioned Sakshi about her strong views on men. She attributed her opinions to "generational trauma." When asked by judge Tanmay Bhat about her father's reaction to her views, Sakshi stated she disliked him, as well as her grandfather and brother.

The judges, including Tanmay Bhat, Vishal Dadlani, Raghu Ram, and Yashraj Mehra, did not find her act convincing. Each judge awarded her zero points, marking the first time this season an act received a unanimous rejection. The audience also responded with shouts of "Zero" when asked for their score.

Clips of Sakshi's audition circulated on social media platforms, igniting a debate. Some viewers criticized the act, arguing that mocking an entire gender was not humorous and that the performance relied on shock value. Others defended her, stating that comedy is subjective and comedians often use provocative material. Some also acknowledged the judges' right to reject acts they did not find entertaining.

Who is Sakshi Jha?

Sakshi Jha is said to be content creator from Bihar, where she built a following on social media. According to reports, earlier she worked as a teacher.
