MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025 begins today at mcc.nic.in: Check schedule, registration process & key details

NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially started the NEET UG 2025 Round 1 counselling registration process today. Only those candidates who have scored above the NEET UG 2025 cut-off are eligible to participate. If you’re aspiring to secure a seat in one of India’s top medical colleges, participating in the counselling process is essential, as it determines your eligibility for admission into your desired institute.

This year, more than 12 lakh candidates have successfully qualified in the NEET UG exam. These aspirants will now compete for approximately 1.15 lakh MBBS seats available in government and private medical colleges across the country.

About NEET UG Counselling MCC

The MCC conducts NEET UG counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other allied health science programs under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ). These seats are offered in government medical and dental colleges throughout India.

The remaining 85% of seats are allocated through state-level counselling, which is carried out by respective state authorities based on NEET UG 2025 scores. States such as Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana, Assam, and Punjab have already initiated the registration process for their own counselling rounds.

Step 6: Save the confirmation page and download your filled counselling form.
Step 7: Take a printout for future reference.

• NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard
• Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and Passing Certificates
• Birth Certificate (if not mentioned on Class 10 certificate)
• Category Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates)
• Domicile Certificate (for State Quota seats)
• Passport-sized Photographs (as uploaded in the NEET application)
