India’s top-selling compact SUV is quietly getting a refresh. The facelifted Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been spotted testing again on Indian roads, and fresh spy shots point to a handful of upgrades—inside and out—along with a possible new engine option and a six-speed manual gearbox. The updated model is expected to arrive around July 2026.

At first glance, the test vehicle does not scream “new.” The overall shape remains unchanged, sticking to the Brezza’s familiar design. But small changes begin to show up on closer inspection.

Up front, the SUV appears to get a revised bumper, a tweaked grille, and new fog lamps. There are also hints of redesigned alloy wheels and minor updates to the rear, including what could be connected LED tail-lamps and a reworked lower bumper.


It’s the kind of update that doesn’t shout—but quietly tries to stay relevant.

Step inside, and the changes become more obvious.

The biggest talking point is a larger infotainment screen. The current 9-inch unit seems to make way for a 10.25-inch display, likely paired with a new user interface. The system is expected to support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

There are also signs of a 360-degree camera setup, hinted by protrusions on the ORVMs. While this feature already exists on the current model, the test mule suggests it could be part of a higher-spec variant.

Other expected additions include a refreshed dashboard layout, a new instrument cluster, and feature upgrades like a powered driver’s seat and ventilated front seats.

The facelifted Maruti Suzuki Brezza is widely expected to hit Indian showrooms around mid-2026, with multiple reports pointing to an April–May launch window. Some estimates even suggest a tentative date in May 2026, although the company has not confirmed anything yet.

Recent sightings and testing activity indicate the SUV is in its final stages, which usually means a launch is not far away.

Buyers can expect the Brezza facelift to arrive between April and July 2026, barring delays.

Pricing is expected to stay close to the current model, with a slight increase due to added features and tech.

Starting price (expected): ₹8.25 lakh – ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom)
Top-end variants: could go up to around ₹14–16 lakh

For context, the current Brezza starts at around ₹8.26 lakh, so the facelift is unlikely to see a dramatic jump.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift: What stays the same, and what may change

Facelifts usually avoid major mechanical overhauls, and the Brezza seems to follow that rule, at least partly.

The SUV is likely to continue with its existing 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine. This engine is offered in multiple configurations:

• Naturally aspirated (99bhp/137Nm)
• CNG (87bhp/121.5Nm)
• Mild-hybrid (102bhp/139Nm)

However, there’s a twist.

Reports suggest the facelift could also introduce a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine—the same unit seen in the Fronx. This engine produces 100bhp and 147Nm of torque, which could add a more spirited driving option to the lineup.

Another key update is the expected introduction of a 6-speed manual gearbox, likely aimed at improving gear ratios and overall driving feel.

Brezza Facelift CNG gets smarter packaging

The updated Brezza is also expected to feature an underbody-mounted CNG tank. This move could free up boot space—a long-standing compromise in CNG vehicles.

The SUV will continue to offer a factory-fitted CNG option alongside its petrol variants.
