Although Lakhwinder Singh covered a substantial distance of 22,000 kilometers, his journey wasn't solely reliant on roads. Initially, he shipped his car to the UK and then embarked on a drive from London to Paris, crossing the English Channel via train—a journey that took a minimum of 37-38 minutes.


Throughout his expedition, he had the opportunity to explore some of Europe's most breathtaking roads, including the renowned Autobahn in Germany, famous for granting drivers the freedom to travel at unrestricted speeds.

During his adventure, Lakhwinder Singh encountered a few speeding fines, receiving citations in Serbia, Turkey (two fines), and Pakistan.

In an interview with Ride and Drive, Singh revealed that the idea of embarking on this extensive road trip came to him during the pandemic lockdown when he found himself confined to his home for nearly two months. It took him almost three years to meticulously plan every aspect of the trip.

Singh faced several obstacles along the way, particularly with the visa process in Iran, which took nearly a year to be approved. Additionally, he encountered a visa suspension in Pakistan due to a complaint that the map in his car did not include Kashmir.


Notably, Singh acquired a single-entry visa for all the countries, meaning he is unable to return to the USA by road. However, he intends to transport his car back to the USA either by sea or air.
