Man in Surat prepares 'fruity chai', video goes viral. Watch here
A video of "Fruity chai" has gone viral but not all tea lovers are impressed.

A video of a vendor in Gujarat's Surat making "Fruity Chai" has gone viral. In recent months, social media has witnessed a few disastrous food recipes such as tandoori chicken ice cream, matka dosa, and fried ice cream.
The latest addition to that long list of bizarre culinary experiments is this fruit tea or "fruity chai".
The viral video apparently shows that the initial preparation of the tea is the same that is seen with normal tea. However, things get unusual when the man preparing this tea starts to add slices of apple, chopped chikoos, bananas, grated fruit. He mixes these fruits with the tea.
The video was shared from Instagram page of DelhiFoodCrush. The video was captioned as "Tag a chai lover".
The video was posted on April 25. The video has already garnered 3,25,863 likes so far. The comment section showcases that a section of netizens are clearly not impressed with this bizarre preparation of tea called "fruit chai".
Earlier in April, Dolly Roy, India's first woman tea-taster, passed away at a hospital in Kolkata after battling cancer for a long time.
'Dolly's tea' - a concept ideated and conceived by her at 'Dakshinapan', a popular shopping complex in South Kolkata, continues to be a favourite haunting joint for the youth and intellectuals preferring a chat over a cup of tea.
Her collections had a mixture of traditional Darjeeling and Assam tea varieties along with ginger tea, lemon lea, mint tea, and ice tea.
