The police prepared a report and sent the body to a crematorium. However, as the body was placed on the pyre, Kumar suddenly began breathing. An ambulance was called, and he was rushed back to the hospital, where his condition was found to be stable, and he is now receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
In response to this incident, three doctors—Dr. Yogesh Jakhar, Dr. Navneet Meel, and Dr. Sandeep Pachar—were suspended for medical negligence. Jhunjhunu District Collector Ramavtar Meena also announced that a committee would investigate the matter, and the secretary of the medical department had been informed.
Revenue officer Mahendra Mund and Deputy Director of the Social Justice Department Pawan Poonia also visited the hospital after the incident.
