Mahesh Babu all set to make Hindi debut with SS Rajamouli , ‘SSMB 28’ OTT rights sold for a record sum

According to various film industry sources, Mahesh Babu is intending to make his Hindi debut with the SS Rajamouli action adventure project. Mahesh is presently filming for SSMB 28 alongside Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela. Director Trivikram Srinivas has changed the plot of this movie to make it a family-friendly comedy, and production has already started.

Recent reports claim that SMMB 28's OTT rights were sold for a record sum. Netflix allegedly paid Rs. 80 crore for the South Asian rights of SSMB 28 . The Hindi rights, however, have not yet been sold.




According to film industry reports, the producer, Haarika and Haasine Creations, has kept the Hindi rights for the film since Mahesh Babu wants to make his Hindi debut with the SS Rajamouli picture. Since the RRR director declared that it would be an action adventure picture like Indiana Jones that would take viewers throughout the world, the SS Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu collaboration has been greatly awaited.

SS Rajamouli remarked in an interview with American media, “My next film is with Mahesh. It's an adventure picture in the vein of Indiana Jones, but considerably more contemporary and vast in scope”.

Rajamouli and the RRR team are currently anticipating the Oscars in March, since RRR's Naatu Naatu has been nominated for Best Original Song.
