The Maharashtra School Education Board will release the provisional general merit list for FYJC (First-Year Junior College) Admission 2025 on June 6 at 4:30 PM. The list will display the names and qualifying status of students who registered for Round 1 of Class 11 admissions across eight divisions in the state.

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: Objection window

Students will be allowed to raise objections or request corrections in the provisional merit list from June 5 to June 7, 2025. After resolving these, the final or revised merit list will be published on June 8, 2025.

Over 10.85 lakh registrations for 20.43 lakh seats

As of June 2, a total of 10,85,851 students have registered for Class 11 admissions. The admission process is being conducted for 20.43 lakh seats spread across 9,281 junior colleges in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: Break-up of seats by stream

The stream-wise seat distribution is as follows:

Science: 8.52 lakh seats

Commerce: 5.40 lakh seats

Arts: 6.50 lakh seats

These seats are available across eight divisions — Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The Konkan division is not part of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

Check your name and details to verify qualifying status

Many candidates reported problems during the application process due to frequent website crashes. The board has acknowledged the issue and assured students that, “the problems will be resolved before the publication of the final merit list.”
