Maharaja Agrasen is a legendary Hindu King and his birthday is remembered as the Agrasen Jayanti in several states of India.

Agrasen Jayanti is observed on the fourth day of the Ashwin month of the Hindu calendar. This year, it falls on September 26.

It is an auspicious day for the descendants of Maharaja Agrasen - Agrahari, Agrawal and Jain. The Vaishya community celebrate this day with full religious devotion.

The brick was given so that newcomers can build their houses and the coin to start their businesses. This is the reason why his followers celebrate the day of his birth with welfare activities.
