The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the MAH MBA CET Round 2 seat allotment result 2026 for candidates seeking admission to management programmes across Maharashtra. Candidates who participated in the second counselling round can check their allotment status through the official MAH CET website.

The allotment covers seats at government and private institutions offering programmes including Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS).

How to check MAH MBA CET Round 2 allotment result

Candidates can check and download their result by following these steps:



  1. Visit the State CET Cell's official portal.

  2. Select the portal link for the current academic session.

  3. Click on the View Score Card or MBA/MMS-CET Result link.

  4. Enter the registered email ID and password, or application number and date of birth.

  5. Enter the security PIN or captcha, if required.

  6. Click Submit to view the result.

  7. Download and save the scorecard PDF for future admission requirements.

Candidates should verify their name, roll number, application ID, overall score and percentile. A printed copy should also be kept for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) counselling.

When will MAH MBA CET relase next vacancy list?

The CET Cell is scheduled to release the vacancy position for the next counselling stage on August 18. The list will show seats remaining after the completion of Round 2 admissions.

Candidates should check the official counselling portal for the vacancy details and further instructions after the list is released.

Reporting deadline for allotted candidates

Candidates who have received seats in Round 2 must report in person to their allotted institutes between August 13 and August 17.

They will need to complete document verification and pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm their seats.

What happens to candidates with auto-frozen seats?

Candidates allotted seats among their first three preferences will have their admissions automatically frozen. Those candidates must join the allotted institution if they want to retain the seat secured through Round 2.

Candidates whose seats have been auto-frozen but who do not accept the allotment will not be eligible to participate in the third or fourth counselling rounds. They can instead participate in the subsequent open or institutional round, subject to the applicable rules and seat availability.

Round 2 seat allotment details

According to the CET Cell, 29,487 seats were available for the second round across Maharashtra. A total of 27,799 candidates submitted their college preferences within the prescribed deadline and were considered for the second CAP allotment.

The second round resulted in 14,086 candidates receiving seats in colleges across the state. Of these, 11,511 candidates were allotted colleges matching their preferred choices.
