— ANI UP/Uttarakhand (@ANINewsUP) 1658877879000It was during her online classes during the Covid-induced lockdown that the symptoms started showing. Pramita used to feel severe backache and fatigue. After a few tests, the family got to know what was ailing her.
The teen was at first heartbroken, but her mother Rashmi and her father Utkarsh Tiwari, a businessman by profession, stood firmly by her side.
Pramita first underwent treatment at a Lucknow hospital, and was later referred to a multispeciality hospital in Gurugram for chemotherapy. In January, she underwent a bone marrow transplant. In between all these, she found time for her studies.
Doctors have told her parents that her cancer is presently under control. Her teachers arranged special online classes, and her doctors kept her spirits up.
As for her future plans, Pramita Tiwari wants to join a medical science course and become a doctor.
