In the aftermath, the police examined over 100 CCTV camera feeds to track the suspects. Their movements were traced to Gurgaon and Bahadurgarh, where the two men were arrested, with Manoj Kumar detained on March 28 and Ashok Kumar on March 30.

Ashok Kumar, his accomplice, had similar financial difficulties and was reportedly motivated by the same desire to help his family.
During their arrest, the police recovered several key pieces of evidence, including the car used in the crime, house-breaking tools, and four mobile phones. Notably, two of the phones were bought with the stolen money.
Both accused men have a criminal history, with involvement in at least two dozen prior cases of burglary, theft, snatching, and robbery.
