Listing of 4 BHK flat in Bengaluru with Rs 2.5 lakh rent, Rs 25 lakh deposit goes viral
A Bengaluru man has shared a listing on Twitter of a 4 BHK flat with a rent of Rs 2.5 lakh and a Rs 25 lakh deposit in the HSR layout area of the city. The listing had an "Apply Loan" link besides the deposit column.

The man, named Tejaswi Shrivastava, has shared a listing for a 4 BHK flat on Twitter in which the property owner is asking for a rent of Rs 2.5 lakh with a Rs 25 lakh deposit!
The house is located in the HSR layout area of the city. The listing, on the No Broker with Posh Society tag, had 14 views at the time of the tweet.
What's more interesting is that the listing also had an 'Apply Loan' link besides the deposit column.
On this, Shrivastava quipped: "They should add an option: Apply for Kidney Donation."
"My landlord in Bangalore increased rent by 15,000 INR within one year, whereas, as per agreement, the increase per year should have been 5%. The only option he gave was either to leave or pay the increased rent," tweeted Arsh Goyal.
He added: "We had no other option but to agree to the landlord, as finding a new place again is a big problem—a lot of time to research/brokerage amount to be paid again, locality, and distance from the place of work. Also , we already spent a lot of money setting up this house."
"It seems this is not just with me but with a lot of people in societies nearby. Where do you see the rent going in the coming days for a rented house in Bengaluru?"
ET had in April highlighted the housing crisis in India's technology hub.
"Property brokers report a surge in interest in renting homes within large communities, with as many as four to five prospective tenants vying for the same property," ET's Sobia Khan reported then.
