The 2025 recap is highly visual and shareable, designed to distill complex engagement data into easy-to-digest slides. Key metrics featured include:- Networking growth: Total profile views, post impressions, and new connections added in 2025.
- Content performance: Highlights of the user’s most engaging posts, showing which topics, articles, or videos resonated most.
- Audience insights: Data on industries and top companies where profile viewers are employed.
- Professional milestones: Summary of new job titles, certifications earned, and skills added during the year.
How to access your 2025 recap
LinkedIn is rolling out the feature globally in phases. Users can view their recap through three main channels:- Homepage banner: A “Year in Review” banner appears at the top of the LinkedIn feed on mobile and desktop apps.
- Notifications: Push notifications and in-app alerts notify users when their personalized summary is ready.
- Search and hashtags: Users can search #YearInReview in the LinkedIn search bar to find the official landing page and see how others in their industry are celebrating.
LinkedIn “Year in Review” FAQs
When will I receive my Year in Review?Eligible users will receive notifications on December 17. The recap can then be accessed via the LinkedIn app by searching “Year in Review” or clicking the link in notifications or email.
The experience is only available on the mobile app. Users will see a banner or notification in the LinkedIn app when their summary is ready.
Why can’t I see my Year in Review?
You may be ineligible if:
- You did not meet the minimum engagement requirements.
- Your preferred language is not supported (available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese).
- You are not using the latest version of the LinkedIn app.
- You are trying to access LinkedIn on desktop or web.
- You are experiencing a network or loading issue.
Your recap is private and visible only to you. You can choose to share the final screen on your feed or via message. The text can be edited before posting.
