Lenovo Legion series launched: A gaming revolution

The Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 laptop and the Lenovo Legion R9000P laptop have just been launched. For professionals who were aware of pre-launch developments and were waiting for the models to hit the market, here's a summary of their vital specifications.

R7000P

These are both gaming laptops and have matching aesthetics. Their earlier versions (Y7000 and Y9000) launched in March 2022 also had matching aesthetics. The new versions pack a powerful punch with their AMD Ryzen processors. Both the new models are also equipped with NVidea graphics GeForce. Both feature 165 Hz displays and the audio card comes courtesy Nahimic.

The model R7000P has four different choices to choose from in terms of the Nvidea Graphics card. One is equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX3050 graphics card, and the other has is Nvidia Ge Force RTX3050Ti graphics. The processors also are slightly different for both the versions — one AMD Ryzen R5 6600H, the other AMD Ryzen R7-6800H processors.

As for prices, it is better to study the complete specifications and then make a pick. They begin from Rs 88,700 and end at Rs 96,300 with Rs 91,700 and Rs 92,800 in between.

The model R9000P has 2 variants and comes with an AMD Ryzen R76800H processor for both with the graphics card varying with Nvidia GeForce RTX3060 and Nvidia GeForce RTX3070Ti option. Prices start from 1,10,300 and Rs 1,35,800.

Other features for R7000P include Frost Blade cooling system 4.0, Dolby Vision, DC Dimming with 16GB DDR5RAM equipped with 4800Mhz frequency.

Lenovo R9000P has HDR support for the display. It is also equipped with Nvidia Gsync technology and AMD Free Sync capability. Connectivity options for both 9000P and the 7000P are the same. The laptop has a separate button for the webcam and fast charging capabilities.
