How hot will Las Vegas get this week?

However, temperatures are expected to rise further over the next few days, with Wednesday and Thursday likely to be the hottest, bringing a significant chance of exceeding 110°F (43°C).Forecasters say a strengthening high-pressure system over the south-western United States will keep daytime temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above average throughout the week.
Heat risk expected to increase

The UV Index is expected to reach 12, which falls into the extreme category. People spending time outdoors are advised to wear sunscreen, protective clothing and drink plenty of water.
Rainfall remains well below last year's levels
