'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' actor Vikas Sethi dies of cardiac arrest
Actor Vikas Sethi, known for TV shows like "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Sasural Simar Ka", passed away in Nashik at 48 due to cardiac arrest. He was attending a family function with his wife. His last rites will be held in Mumbai on Monday.

Sethi's wife, Jhanvi Sethi, revealed that the couple had travelled to Nashik for a family event when Vikas began feeling unwell. "After we arrived at my mother's house, he started experiencing vomiting and loose motions. He didn't want to go to the hospital, so we called a doctor to the house," she shared with PTI.
Tragically, the next morning, Jhanvi discovered that Vikas had passed away during the night. "When I went to wake him around 6 am, he was no more. The doctor confirmed that he had died in his sleep due to cardiac arrest," she said.
His mortal remains have been sent to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem. Sethi's last rites are scheduled for Monday in Mumbai.
Beyond his television career, Sethi also appeared in the 2001 Bollywood hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham..., where he portrayed Robbie, a friend of Kareena Kapoor Khan's character Poo.
Sethi is survived by his wife and their twin sons.
