KVS Admission Result 2026 Date and Time: When and where to check first provisional list for Balvatika and Class I, II and III, direct link and more

Students and parents are eagerly waiting for the release of provisional selection lists as the registrations for KVS admissions 2026–27 have now been concluded. According to the schedule, the first provisional merit list for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-2 (if needed), and Balvatika-3 will be released on April 8, 2026. The list for Class 1 will be published on April 9, 2026. The KVS admission results for 2026 can also be checked at kvsangathan.nic.in.

KVS Balvatika admission results 2026: Date and Time

The first provisional list of selected and waitlisted students for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-2 (where applicable), and Balvatika-3 will be released on April 8, 2026. The Class I list is scheduled to be announced on April 9, 2026. However, in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, both Balvatika and Class I lists will be declared on April 10, 2026 due to general election polling. The registration for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class 1 was open from March 20 to April 2, 2026.

The provisional lists will include the names of selected candidates along with waiting lists. The admission process will be conducted in phases, beginning with Right to Education (RTE) candidates, followed by Service Priority Category I and II, and finally the remaining vacant seats.

The first provisional list for Class 1 to 3 admissions under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is released at the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. Where to check:

KVS Online Admission 2026-27

The second and third provisional lists will be released later in April if seats remain vacant after the first round. The second list is scheduled for April 16, 2026, followed by the third list on April 21, 2026. These lists will facilitate further admissions based on the availability of seats after earlier rounds.

If sufficient applications are not received through the online process, a fresh notification for offline registrations under RTE, SC, ST and OBC (NCL) categories will be issued on April 21, 2026. The registration process will be conducted from April 22 to April 26, 2026, while the display of lists and admissions will take place between April 27 and April 30, 2026.

List for other classes

For Balvatika-2 and Class II onwards (except Class XI), offline admissions will be conducted from April 2 to April 8, 2026, subject to vacancies. The list of selected candidates for these classes will be announced on April 13, 2026, and the admission process will be carried out between April 15 and April 20, 2026.

What about admissions to Class XI

Admissions to Class XI will begin after the declaration of Class X Board results by Central Board of Secondary Education. For existing Kendriya Vidyalaya students, registration will start within 10 days of the result announcement, and the admission list will be displayed within 20 days. For non-KV students, the process will commence after accommodating KV students, depending on seat availability. The final deadline for Class XI admissions will be 30 days from the declaration of Class X results.

The last date for admission to all classes, except Class XI, is June 30, 2026. However, if seats remain vacant, admissions may continue until July 31, 2026, subject to approval by the Deputy Commissioner and availability of seats.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has directed that all admission lists must be published on school websites, social media platforms, and notice boards.
