KTR asks fans for advice on binge-worthy shows to watch while being on bed rest

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president and IT minister KT Rama Rao said on Saturday that he had a small accident and tore his ankle ligament. He further stated that he had been advised to three weeks of bed rest.

He took to Twitter to announce his injury which took place a day before his birthday. The minister has also made an appeal to party leaders and workers to not celebrate his birthday in view of the grim flood situation. He instead asks them to donate to the needy under the 'gift a smile' programme.

In the post, the minister posted an image of himself with his ankle wrapped in a bandage, while resting on a sofa. The comment for the post "had a fall today and ended up tearing my ankle ligament. Been advised three weeks rest.”. He also asked for advice on what binge worthy OTT show he can watch while on bed rest.



The twitter post evoked several different reactions from fans, with many wishing him a speedy recovery . But some critised him regarding the OTT binge watching comment. One user stated that he could get a lot of work done remotely, while also suggesting that he watches the Hima Qureshi-starrer Maharani web series which revolves around a family feud for the post of Chief minister's post between a husband and wife pair.

Some other comments included, one asking the minister to isolate himself and get well soon, while another one offered well wishes and prayers.


Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national treasurer P. M. Sai Prasad said, “When Rome was burning, Nero was fiddling. While Hyderabad devastated with floods, @KTRTRS garu asking for binge worthy OTT shows wah wah (sic)!” He went on to say that “start differences bet @trspartyonline Dynasts vs self made karyakartas of @BJP4India (sic).
