The Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (KSDNEB) has announced the results of the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course re-examination for November 2022, which was held in January 2023. Candidates who appeared for the first and second-year exams can check their results by logging in to the official website with their registration number at ksdneb.org.

Here’s how to check the result:

  • Candidates need to visit the official KSDNEB website - www.ksdneb.org.
  • Thereafter, they need to log in to their respective accounts and enter their username and password.
  • The candidates, thereafter, need to choose their respective years of examination (1st November 2022 or 2nd year Re-Examination)
  • Candidates then have to enter their registration number and DOB
  • Post submission of the same, they can access their results.
  • KSDNEB has also informed that withheld results can be clarified by providing necessary documents to the board. From March 27 to 30, candidates can apply through their institutes for obtaining photocopies or re-evaluation of answer sheets. In case of obtaining xerox copies after the deadline, a late fee of ₹500 per subject will be charged, while the fee for re-evaluation of answer scripts is ₹500 and must be paid online.

The GNM course is a three-year program followed by a mandatory six-month internship, which specializes in nursing practices such as maternity care, post-trauma care, rehabilitation, mental health care, data collection, and more. There are 1936 nursing colleges in India offering a total of 1,00,930 seats for nursing courses. To secure admission to the GNM course, candidates are required to appear for entrance exams conducted by state governments. To be eligible for GNM admission, students need to have studied Science in class 12.
