Kriti Sanon and Prabhas to engage next week, claims film critic Umair Sandhu

Kriti Sanon and Prabhas are all set to get engaged next week, film critic Umair Sandhu has revealed. Earlier Kriti posted an Instagram story to dispel rumours spreading on social media that she was dating Prabhas. Currently, a new update regarding the engagement of the actors has surfaced on the internet.

Umair Sandhu on his Twitter page stated that the pair will get engaged in Maldives the following week. He posted, “BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon and #Prabhas is getting engaged in Maldives next week!! So happy for them!”




However, social media users are not convinced by the story. According to one user, not even the couple themselves are aware of their engagement. Taking a humorous jibe, one Twitter user wrote, Umair also has the food catering contract for the couple's wedding. “I appreciate the update. I have also heard that you have won the contract for food catering. Biryani should be shown prominently. Be careful. Lots of love”.

In addition to Umair, Varun Dhawan hinted about Kriti's friendship with Prabhas during the promotion of Bhediya in the finale of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.
Varun said “Kriti's name is missing since it is in someone's heart. That dude is not in Mumbai right now since he is filming with Deepika”.

This revelation sparked outrage on social media, with many quickly assuming the actor's identity was Prabhas. Some admirers wondered whether this was just a ruse to promote Prabhas and Kirti's much-anticipated flick Adipurush. Prior to Kriti, Prabhas was said to be dating actress Anushka Shetty.
