‘Kranti’: Darshan-starrer to be released on OTT; check for more details
Darshan and Rachita Ram-starrer 'Kranti' will be streamed on Netflix from February 23.

Kranti recently finished a 25-day run in cinemas. The story's focus is Kranti Rayanna (Darshan), a wealthy NRI businessman, who returns to India to commemorate the anniversary of his childhood school. But, as the ceremony begins, the school collapses, killing and injuring many people. When Kranti realises that this tragedy was planned by the filthy businessman Salatri (played by Tarun Arora) and his accomplices in order to privatise additional government schools in order to fill their own pockets, he declares war against Salatri in order to ensure the better future of the schools and pupils.
Sumalatha, Mukyamantri Chandru, V Ravishankar, and Girija Lokesh also play important parts in the film. Darshan's father is played by V Ravichandran. Darshan again collaborates with filmmaker V Harikrishna for the second time, following 'Yajamana'.
Darshan's next film will be 'Kateera,' directed by Tharun Sudhir. He is paired in the film with Radhana Ram, who made her debut in the film ‘Sandalwood’.
Darshan Thoogudeepa is an Indian actor, producer and distributor best-known for his work in Kannada films. He is one of Kannada cinema's most prominent contemporary actors and founded Thoogudeepa Productions in 2006. Its first production was 'Jothe Jotheyali', which featured Darshan in a cameo role. Film critics appreciated his roles in 'Anatharu' (2007) and 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' (2012), with the latter earning him the "Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor' for his portrayal of the 19th-century fighter Sangolli Rayanna.
