Koffee With Karan 7: Ranveer Singh says Samantha in 'Oo Antava' is hotter than Katrina in 'Tip Tip'

Popular chat show Koffee with Karan has returned after a four-year break with its 7th season on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.

The show that premiered its first episode on July 7, featured Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the guests.

During the show, Karan asked Jayeshbhai Jordaar star to pick a song he thinks is hotter between Samantha Ruth Prabhu's "Oo Antava" Katrina Kaif's "Tip Tip". The actor picked "Oo Antava", saying it was well-choreographed between the two. He, however, said that Katrina was a better dancer than Samantha.


The chat show began with Karan addressing the 'Boycott Bollywood' trend on social media for the past two years.

In conversation with Alia Bhatt, Karan mentioned that he never thought all the controversies would happen and felt they would never return. Alia exclaimed that she was sad about everything that had happened.

Karan said the industry, on the whole, was vilified. He expressed that it was tough for him and felt they were put into the dungeons for two years. He could see the 'snake emojis' every time 'Koffee with Karan' was mentioned.

In a separate segment, Johar also asked the duo to bust some myths about marriage, to which Alia replied, "There's no such thing as a suhagraat. You are just tired."

The celebrity chat show has always received a good response from viewers since its first telecast on Star World in November 2004. However, season 7 of the popular chat show will be available exclusively on the streaming platform Disney+Hotstar.
