KL Rahul injured while batting practice ahead of the 2nd test match vs Bangladesh

The day before the second Test match against Bangladesh in Mirpur, KL Rahul gave India a scare when the opener was struck on his hand while batting in the practice nets on Wednesday.

Rahul is leading India because Rohit Sharma is still dealing with a thumb injury he sustained in the second ODI of the series. India was led by Rahul in the opening Test in Chattogram, which the visitors won by 188 runs to take a commanding 1-0 series lead.

Rahul's injury, which doesn't appear to be serious, is being investigated by the BCCI medical team, according to India's batting coach Vikram Rathour.

However, Abhimanyu Easwaran believes that he is more than capable of meeting the challenge. The Bangal right-hander scored two centuries in two four-day matches for India A against Bangladesh A.
