KKR captain Nitish Rana’s wife Saachi Marwah gets harassed by two youngsters

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Nitish Rana’s wife Saachi Marwah used Instagram to address an incident that occurred in Kirtinagar, Delhi. Marwah stated that two unknown motorcyclists struck her vehicle while she was returning from her workplace on May 4, 2023.

According to Saachi Marwah's Instagram post, two men on a motorcycle began tailing her car and subsequently collided with it. Although she was able to return home safely, when she reported the incident to the police, they declined to take any action and instead instructed her to take note of the number plate if it happens again.

Soon, a Twitter user captured screenshots of the incident and shared them, stating that they had just viewed Saachi Marwah's (Nitish Rana's wife) Instagram story.


According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Ghanshyam Bansal, the Delhi Police have made arrests in the case for reportedly stalking and harassing the wife of Nitish Rana, captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team, in West Delhi.

On Friday, the police received a complaint via email at the Kirti Nagar police station, in which the complainant claimed that around 8:30 pm on Thursday while travelling home from Chhatarpur in her car with her driver, she was pursued and harassed.

As per Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Ghanshyam Bansal’s statement, the complainant said that while waiting at a red light in Kirti Nagar area, two individuals on a motorcycle drove past her vehicle at a high speed before coming to a halt in front of her car.

The two men proceeded to stare at her and pound their hands on her vehicle. Following an investigation, the authorities analyzed CCTV footage of the area and identified the suspects as Chaitnaya Shivam (18), who resides in Pandav Nagar, and Vivek (18), a resident of Patel Nagar. The suspects were apprehended at their respective residences, and the investigation is ongoing.
